They send you books after you have declined them and then you have to make trips to the post office to send them back and then they bill you for their mistake !!! Try calling- they put you on hold forever and never answer!! Try emailing- their website is no longer a valid one !!!

Crafters Choice - Unusable fragrance oil

I have ordered EO/FO from this company before in the years past, and I and my customers have been very pleased with them. However, when I re-ordered the same fragrance what I received was nothing like the previous batches.

It is nothing usable at all, in fact it has a very strong chemical odor much like gasoline. I called the company to inform them, and hopefully receive a replacement, but no. They will look into it and get back to me. So I can just wait til they are done looking into it, and tell my customers that we just have to wait for their response.

This is not OK!

I won't buy anymore products from Crafters Choice or their retail company, Wholesale Supplies Plus again. Very poor customer service for a long time customer.

I've had the same problems for at least 40% of FOs from CC. also, the Cool Cucumber FO turned 2 products rancid (or smelled like it).

1 was a body lotion and the other a hair conditoner. I had to throw 100 bottles of lotions and 12 - 32 oz conditioners away.

It was the FO as I reviewed my formulas and found the only thing that can cause is the Cool Cucumber. many other issues as well with FOs

Sent bogus bill!

Received a bill for something I never ordered. Never heard of this company. Tired of this bogus stuff! Doesn't anyone have a solution? I only order from Nationally known companies. No flyby nighters! Was just ready to shred the bill but decided to do more sleuthing so will hold on to this and if I ever hear from them again I will take copies to my attorney and sue the pants off of them! Enough is enough! There should be a news page for crafters that we can refer to to find out who is legitimate and who isn't.

False Account and threats

We have never been a customer with Crafter's Choice. We never signed up. We do not even do crafts. Yet they have been sending us books and bills every month and threatening to send us to a collection agency. We have returned every book. They claim we have an account but we cannot log into it. This screams fraud. We will keep on escalating this issue until they stop sending books we've never ordered on account we never opened. If need be, we will go to the BBB and FBI mail fraud. I'm just getting tired of hauling their stuff back to the post office on special trips.

Crafters Choice - Collection Calls Review from Warrensville Heights, Ohio

I received a phone call today from a collector claims I owe this company $69.00 (get this) from 12 years ago (2003). I have no knowledge of order Any crafting books. This is probably fraud I never even heard of this company and I believe someone else could have ordered whatever in my name. It is my practice to refuse and send back items I have not ordered. I refuse to continue conversations with the collectors until they can actually send proof I ordered whatever this is.....

Warning! Don't Give Crafters Choice your bank info!!

yep this happened to me too! Three times and then when I called them and finally got someone on the phone they said I didn't decline my featured selections . I sure as *** did. So two of the orders I received and sent back the very same day...this was months ago. I have only had $48 of over $120 back on my debit card. I looked in my bank account today and they have charged my account another $46!! I called and asked for a supervisor and she told me after i insisted she find out what the *** was going on because my account was supposed to have been closed. She told me I had 2 accounts!!!!! The 2nd account was just recently opened and had my same info in it as the first! I no way opened a 2nd account. And she tried to tell me that I had not completed my membership in this account!!! I can not believe what a mess signing up for this book club has cost me. Not only do I have books now being mailed to me that I DID NOT ORDER, but because I told her not to touch my bank account again (oh I tried to delete my bank account info and the web site wont let you) and she told me when they received all the books back they would mail me a check and it would take at least 90 days to process! I don't know if I will ever get my money back and it makes me sick because I am a single mom and when they charged my account for these books it over drafted my account $50!! I'm already having a hard time and now this!

Stay away from these people.

I had an account with them many years ago with no problems. Back in June I thought I'd join again. I ordered my 4 books and shipping was going to be $13-$15, don't remember exactly. After 2 months I e-mailed them since I couldn't find a phone number. They replied back it was still pending. After 2 months? That's nuts. I replied back, again, but they never got back with me. I have 2 debit cards, main one and one for using online. I had money in the one account for an automatic withdrawal on a bill. One Oct 1st what a surprised that Crafter's Choice deducted $45.46 from that account, causing the bill I needed to pay to have an overdraft fee. I e-mailed several times about stealing my money, but only got back a form letter. I asked them if they were crazy since they said I ordered these books. Then they tell me they will return my money when I return the books. I told them they took my money out without my permission and they needed to return my money immediately. The bank told me to give them a few days before I filed a complaint. Still nothing after a week so the bank issued me a new debit card and number and returned my money. They also had a phone number for me, but it asks for a membership number which I don't have and was on hold for 10-15 mins when I hung up. I haven't gotten any books from them yet, but remember hearing a few years ago that if you receive anything without ordering it you can keep it. Since I don't know what kind of books I actually ordered, might wait and see what I get. I can't get over that books, don't know how many was $45.46. I'm barely scrapping by, just got last months bills paid and then they do this. DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! THEY HAVE GONE DOWN HILL AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Order a book 9/17/14, was told after many inquiries that it would ship end of November...still have not received. I emailed them again stating what I just said and they said it processed 9/17/14...well duh, yes you got my money bit I have not received my book.

No reply...never ordering again and filing complaint with bank for refund. Not sure if the BBB would be worthwhile.

Hi, I am be charged $91.00 for book I did order hut never got this is on my credit report for over 3 years and I didn't think no more about it I thought maybe I did get them just couldn't find the books. But low and behold I Di order them and never got them. So I am now going to the the credit bearu and the BBB and consumer affairs. Its crazy but I fault myself for not being more aware of it and keeping and eye on it. Good company but just shysty.

Crafters Choice Sent Books I did Not Order and Charged My Account

SENIOR CITIZENS BEWARE: I think they are running a scam because it is my opinion they do not think we, the seniors, are paying attention! For about EIGHT months Crafters Choice sent me books that I had either declined or had not ordered. Because I kept records, I could tell that I had never even had a CHOICE of declining some of the books. I called them month after month and FINALLY when I threatened to call the BBB and FBI regarding mail fraud, the costs of these books were refunded to my account. Also, one of the supervisors that I talked to tried to intimidate me and told me I had not declined these books or that I HAD ordered them. He messed with the wrong old woman! I KEEP RECORDS! He was unprofessional! I am not returning all these books at MY own expense. The first two sets of books were sent back because they gave me a shipping label. I am a senior citizen and on a limited income. It used to be a wonderful company and I have been a member for sometime. But I will no longer do business with any company that wants to keep my credit card information on file. Too much possibility for abuse of the consumer.

Changed website, cannot decline monthly selection

I have been a member of Crafters Choice book club for several years. Once you have met their purchasing selection requirements, you are not required to make a monthly purchase. Featured selections (there are two) are offered monthly. If these are not wanted, members can decline them on their website by the deadline date. Their website has been reformatted for 2 months now. When members log on, the featured selections are no longer posted. Using their search, the featured selections are still nowhere to be found, therefore, members are now at risk of having the unwanted featured selections mailed and billed to them every month, pay the shipping, plus the cost of returning these books. I have sent messages to them twice to explain this concern, but have only received the generic automated response.

But if you miss them when they arrive at your address just decline them or take them back to the post office un-opened and tell them you didn't order this, as long as you do not open it. it is considered a refusal.

I am dealing with them right now on a disputed charge. I send them e-mails and they answer that I owe them $47.46 which $6.00 is late charges.

I get a different person responding each time and they cannot or will not let me know what these charges are for. They say that I made a partial payment. I never make a partial payment, however if I am sending books back, I will deduct the price of those books. I think they are charging me for books I sent back, but my order history is not complete.

I ask them to go to my order history and show me the books that I haven't paid for, but they won't. I know that I am dealing with *** in a cubicle", but surely there is someone like a manager that is sane there.

I have made about 10 attempts to clear this up to no avail. I am going to cancel my membership.

I am having similar problems with them. Definitely would never recommend them to anyone.

Still battling to get over forty dollars bask from them. Customer Service is the worst I have encountered & I do most of my shopping on the internet.

Declinded Books -Sent anyway -

I too, was sent books I DECLINED. I saw they were about to bill my account 50 dollars. I am on a fixed income. I can not part with 50 dollars that easily. But their charge went through. If I don't get my money back in a week, I will be contacting Pay Pal and BBB to see what I can do. I wish now I never got a membership with this company. I am hoping I am wrong and that I will get my money back. I want to cancel my membership but I'm pretty sure I'll be fined a few hundred dollars.

Unauthorized order

I placed an order on June 5 right before the website changed. I contacted the company in July to find out status of my order and they said they had no record of it. Then in August they charged my bank acct for an order - not sure what. I had already sent email asking that they cancel the order if they found it as I obtained the book elsewhere cheaper. Now I find my acct has been charged again for an order I am unable to ascertain exactly what it is. When I try to decline books the website tells me I have no outstanding choices. I would love to cancel my membership but for some reason it is getting nearly impossible to sign onto the website! I want my money refunded!

I did finally receive half of my money, The other half is in craters choices's bank account. I have been a loyal customer for many years. They have lost my business and you can rest assured I will tell anyone that does crafting about the rotten customer service and shoddy business they provide.

I was sent books I had checked DO NOT SEND. They sent them anyway. I had ordered some books and they were not what I was expecting them to be. I got the return labels that I printed on my computer. They sent me an email saying they had received the books and i would receive the refund within 4 days. That never happened and they are impossible to reach. So I too will report them to the better business bureau if I don't have the money in my account within 5 days. I am tired of the run around and I WILL NOT BUY ANY MORE BOOKS FROM THEm!! If you are smart you won't either

I also returned books that I had not ordered. I've been emailing them for almost 3 months and for the past 2 months, they've been telling me that my account was credited.

However, there is no credit listed on their website and my credit card was not refunded. I think the emails go someplace overseas and they just send the standard "your account has been credited" email which is complete bull.

Like you, I will no longer order anything from them. Besides, I can find the books I want much much cheaper from places like Amazon.

Billed 3 times for one order

With their new website I paid by credit card. I was billed 3 times!!!! When I called customer service on July 9 she told me it would be taken care by that Friday. Nothing has been done and forget about trying to get on their "newly redone" website - you get various messages about it not being open and when I did get on to it, it showed I had one order and it was for 3 billings on the same day. I have not called them because my mouth tends to get foul when I'm pissed. I have been a member right from the start and am disappointed with their "new" way of doing things.

New Website

The new website is horrible. Can't log in - "page not found". "Page not found" on everything I try to click on. I received an e-mail requesting an evaluation on a book I ordered. Tried - "page not found". Whatever was done to "improve" the website is a failure. I have been trying for a week. I don't have a monetary number at this time as I am not able to view and or access the website to look and or order anything. I am not a happy customer. At this point I will not recommend your website to any of my friends.

Christmas tree storage bag

Have an order form from last month with this item in it. Have had some family emergencies going on and and unable to order at that time. Tried to call and order today. Operator kept referring to it as a book and website says unable to find the item. WTH? VERY PISSED!I do not understand why this must contain one hundred words to be posted on this web site. If a person can express their complaint in fewer than one hundred words, what is the problem? I'm sorry, but I just do not get it. Thank you very much for your time.
